General information on the summer school 2021 – “Data Literacy in Health”
This summer school is part of the Data Literacy in Context (DaLiCo) project. The topic of last year’s summer school was open data. This year we turned to another important domain: health. This summer school is a transdisciplinary introduction to data (literacy) in the health domain.
The summer school is setup via two main learning lines:
=> interactive introductory workshops in the morning (e.g. data applications in the health domain, exploring datasets, developing a prescriptive model);
=> working on your own data project in the afternoon with support of the DaLiCo members
The aim is to educate students in the domain of health to enhance their confidence to advocate responsible and effective usage of data for decision making.
